Neighbourhood Watch

Our village has a very active neighbourhood watch that has been established for over 20 years, all run by local residents. It is part of the network of schemes across the country and the coordinators regularly receive valuable information from the group.

As part of our coffee mornings, we have visiting speakers about keeping safe and healthy. The local PCSO regularly drops by.

We have set up security lights on timers for residents in their homes, held warm spaces days, ensured signage about the Neighbourhood Watch is visible and also done regular litter picks around the village. Social events are also held to pass on information about the latest Neighbourhood Watch news. Leaflets and information are always available. Want to get involved? We'd love to hear from you!

The Neighbourhood Watch national website, with advice and information is found at www.ourwatch.org.uk
